Minimums
There is a three hour minimum for all moving labor reservations. Any time over three hours is billed at the same hourly rate and to the nearest quarter hour.
Travel Charges
Elite Moving Labor does everything in our power to avoid travel fees. Currently we only charge travel fees to extreme outlying areas. The general rule of thumb is if you are within 25 miles of a large city you will not be subject to a travel fee.
Other Charges
Unlike our competitors, Elite Moving Labor has no additional fees for long carries, stairs, elevators or moves that take place on the weekend. The rates listed above are the actual prices, no fine print and no hidden charges.
1-Man Crew Notes(*)
A one man crew is meant to supplement other capable movers or friends and family. An order for a one man mover should only be placed when there are minimal two man items (eg. heavy furniture) and is not intended to be a cheaper solution for completing a move.
On-Site Common FAQ's
Q: Why would I need to move on the same property?
A: This is actually a very common practice, notably in larger cities. If you are moving from one apartment to another within the same building or complex you may need labor only movers. If you are staging, de-cluttering or organizing you may need furniture moved within the home to accomplish your task.
